Oklahoma is the story of farmers and cowboys living, loving and quarrelling in the early days of the new state Oklahoma. Curly, a cowboy, is in love with Laurey, a farm girl, who cannot choose between Curly and Jud, a farm hand. However, Jud has a shady past and a suspicious nature which causes a quarrel between the two men which makes Laurey’s decision even harder. Ado Annie is also unlucky in love and can’t say no to either philandering salesman Ali Hakim and Will Parker. With love and livelihoods on the line who will be heading off into the sunset in a surrey with a fringe on top?
