In this 1924 operetta-style musical, set in the heart of the Canadian Rockies, young Rose-Marie falls in love with Jim, a miner. When Jim falls under suspicion for murder her brother Emile decides she should marry Edward Hawley, a city man, instead. Rose-Marie has no choice but to marry Edward as he’ll reveal Jim’s hiding place if she doesn’t. With a sad and heavy heart Rose-Marie prepares to marry Edward but did Jim really commit the murder?
