The Arcadians

Sombra is a beautiful but naïve Arcadian and is troubled by stories of a place beyond the sea where monsters who live in stone cages and never tell the truth, London. When Father Time reluctantly brings a Londoner, James Smith, to the island they tell each other stories of their different worlds. When he tries to seduce Sombra with a lie they turn him into an Arcadian. He will live forever, unless he tells a lie, and banish him back to London.
